Description

The Burgäschisee is a small lake surrounded by forest and a fen. There are many different birds but also plants and mammals. You can make a circular walk (2,5 km) around the lake. Every year interesting winter guests and migrants can be observed. Among the birds you can encounter are Skeand, Lille Skallesluger, Stor Skallesluger, Sølvhejre, Toppet Lappedykker, Isfugl, Dobbeltbekkasin, Hvid Stork and Rød Glente.

There is a car park at the lakes beach or you can take the bus to Burgäschi. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking.
