Description

This area of Övre Föret contains a larger body of water directly attached to the Fyris river. Adjacent there are wetlands and reedbeds. This area can easily be observed from a bird tower. A wide variety of waders like Vibe and Tinksmed as well as waterfowl like Hvinand and Knopsvane like to spend time here.

Many spring and autumn migrating birds rest here during their voyage. Species like Dværggås and Blisgås can be found along the shore. With a spotting scope it is also possible to see many species of birds of prey flying over the horizon.
