A faily recently created wetland which attracts ducks, geese and waders.
Munkagårdsfloen is nice wetland to make a stop for birdwatching. It is not very large, about two to three hectares of open water with some islands. The wetland attracts many birds and you can observe the birds well from an observatory that was was built by the Falkenberg Ornithological Society (Falkenbergs Ornitologiska Förening). It also provides excellent protection against strong winds. From the bird hide you look to the east over the wetland. Among the birds you can encounter are Klyde, Lille Præstekrave, Sangsvane, Krikand, Pibeand, Rødben, Tinksmed, Brushane and Rørhøg.
Munkagårdsfloen is located just south of Morup. You can park on the parking directly along the road. Click on the P in the map for directions. From the parking you can cross the open field along the path towards the bird hide.
