Description
In spring and summer Lövstaslätten is a good place to see many birds of prey like Hedehøg, Blå Kærhøg, Rød Glente and Havørn. Even very rare species like Steppehøg and Sort Glente have been seen here.
In autumn many migrating birds pass through here like Hjejle and rarities like Storpiber and Pomeransfugl have been seen. Snespurv and Bjergirisk spend there winters here.

Access
Lövstaslätten is vast and one can birdwatch anywhere, the area marked on the map is located just south-east of Uppsala outside of a village called Danmark and just one kilometer from Linnés Hammarby, where one can find a bigger parking lot. Parking is otherwise tricky and not intended. You can get here by both car and bike. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that spot.
