Description
Fysingen nature reserve has almost 100 breeding species and is a popular birding destination for it's waders, geese and other waterbirds. But also to see birds of prey. The beach meadows with mighty reed belts are bird protection areas and also rich in birds.
Rørhøg can be seen flying low over the reeds, but you can also see birds of prey such as Lærkefalk, Tårnfalk, Fjeldvåge and Fiskeørn. The Havørn has its nest on the island Stora Kyngan in the middle of the lake. You can also hear the honking of Rørdrum and the Nattergal sings through the night. Other nice birds you might see are Karmindompap, Hvinand, Lille Skallesluger, Trane, Drosselrørsanger, Brushane and Sortklire.

A bird tower with connecting track has been built at the far end of the reeds at Fysingen's northwest shore. For parking see the P on the map.
