Salinas del Astur is a nice place for birdwatching with two bird hides. If you are in Punta Umbría, it is an extra good birding place because before getting there you have to go along a path in a pine forest which is also a good area to enjoy birds.

Si se está en Punta Umbría es buen sitio de pajareo porque antes de llegar allí hay que ir por un sendero en zona de pinar que también es buena zona para disfrutar de las aves.

Access
Salinas del Astur is located in the village of Punta Umbría, and south of the city of Huelva. It can be reached by car on an unpaved road but in good condition, even buses can pass. There is also a very nice path to get there. Press P on the map for directions. Opening Hours: Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 to 15:00.
