Wetland close to Zaragoza. In this old meander of the river Ebro you can find numerous birds.
Reserva Natural Sotos y Galachos del Ebro is a natural reserve where we can find numerous birds linked to wetlands. It is one of the last meanders separated from the main course of the river Ebro. The several lakes form very quiet places for the permanence and reproduction of birds and host birds of passage in migratory periods. Among the birds you can see here are Purpurhejre, Kohejre, Nathejre, Rørdrum, Fiskeørn, Slangeørn, Rødhovedet And, Biæder, Skadegøg and many more. See the extended birdlist below.
