Description
The Aiguamolls de l'Empordà constitute an area very rich in fauna, especially in birds which have very interesting habitats of refuge and rest for those who are migratory. They are mainly birds linked to aquatic and marine environments (ardeidae, passeriformes, anatidae, laridae, shorebirds, etc.). In the hibernating, resident and nesting avifauna, there are also interesting species such as Rødrygget Svale, Vibe, Sultanhøne, Atlingand and many others.
