Explanada del Muelle Águilas is a good site for observing seabirds. Middelhavs-sølvmåge is abundant, although it is relatively easy to spot other gulls like Hættemåge, Sorthovedet Måge and Audouinsmåge. Other birds you can spot depending on the time of year are Sule, Alk, Skarv, Topskarv, Splitterne, Mursejler and Balearskråpe.
