Description

Dunas de Maspalomas is a nice area to take a walk when you want to have a quick getaway from the tourist areas but don't want to go to far. The dunes can be explored barefoot but be a bit careful when going in among the shrubs as fallen branches can be on the path. Summer on Gran Canaria offers more birds and that is true for this place as well. In summer look up to get a glimpse of Mursejler and Ensfarvet Sejler. Year round you can amongst others find Kanarisk Piber, Hærfugl, Brillesanger, Kanarisk Gransanger, Sorthovedet Sanger and the Canarian subspecies of Solsort hopping through the bushes, while Berberfalk and Tårnfalk fly overhead.
