Description
Desembocadura Riera de Riudoms (Maspujols) or the mouth of the Riudoms stream forms a small sheet of water when it reaches the sea surrounded by some reeds. Gråand and Rørhøne breed here. However, it is during migration when other species such as Pungmejse, Rørsanger, or Vandrikse can be seen. It is in winter when the place is most interesting to visit, especially to look for some Stormmåge among the Sorthovedet Måge and Hættemåge or a Bonapartemåge that has been wintering here for several years. Also, if you look out to sea, you can find Toppet Skallesluger, Toppet Lappedykker or the commoner Skarv or Topskarv.
If you visit the place from November to march after 4 pm you can wait until dusk when thousands of Sorthovedet Måge come to rest at sea after washing their plumage in fresh water. But you never know which place they will choose. It can be north of this point, also in Salou, or just south the Cambrils fishing port.

Access
You can go walking or by bike easily from Salou or Cambrils. There is also a bus stop near by. You can also park easily if you don't go in the summer. But in summer the place has little interest anyway.
