Description
Hraške Mlake are two ponds surrounded with reeds and trees. The wetland is located in an area of small villages in an agricultural landscape of open fields. At Hraške Mlake you can usually see Toppet Lappedykker, Knopsvane, Lille Lappedykker, Skeand, Rørhøne, Rørsanger, sometimes Nathejre and Tinksmed. Other birds that can be spotted depending on the season are Gøg, Atlingand, Krikand, Stor Skallesluger, Sølvhejre, Sumpmejse, Husrødstjert and Munk.

Access
Hraške Mlake is located 15 km north of Ljubljana. Bus connections are available from Ljubljana to the village of Hraše. From the village you can easily walk to the wetland. When you have your own transport you can park right by the pond. Click on the P in the map for directions.
