One of the only wetlands situated in the Pcinja region of Serbia. It is a wetland where high grass and reed are growing.
In summer you can't see open water at Levosoje Marsh. But, this is a very important place as it is one of the only places where birds can stop on their migration on the Adriatic flyway. While you stand there, egrets and ducks will be passing by.
The only access (as I know) is from the Valoni Petrol gas station at the A1 highway. But this makes the place accessible for every birder that doesn't want to go from the highway. Such a specific location!
Levosoje Marsh is accessed from the Valoni Petrol gas station situated at the A1 highway. Click on the P in the map for directions or coordinates. When you are at the gas station, look for a small door leading to the wetland and a narrow unpaved road. This is the way petrol station workers get to their working place. Just follow this road and watch birds.
