Description
The circular trail between Grgeteg and Velika Remeta monasteries is a well-known and easy hiking route that passes through different habitats on the mild Fruška Gora southeastern slopes. While walking around the route, many birds can be seen, like Pirol, Spætmejse, Sangdrossel, and Skovskade. Fast flying Spurvehøg and soaring Musvåge can be seen on lower paths near the forest edge, while Sumpmejse, Mellemflagspætte and Korttået Træløber are deeper into the forest.
In spring and early summer, many Gulirisk sing from trees along the Kalin stream just below the Grgeteg monastery.
