Description
The low bridge of Ponte de São Domingos crosses the small river Séqua. At this place the river is overgrown with reeds and looks like a small marsh. The banks of the river are covered with trees, shrubs and orchards. There is little traffic on the bridge and it is a pleasant place for bird watching. Among the birds you can encounter are Pirol, Vagtel, Rødhøne, Isfugl, Biæder, Cistussanger, Grønspætte, Ibererblåskade, Cettisanger, Sydlig Nattergal, Helena-astrild, Hærfugl, Hvid Stork and Sorthovedet Sanger.
