Complex of fishponds and wetlands of 750 hectares near the village of Buda Stalowska. More than 180 different bird species have been observed in the area.

Description

Buda Stalowska Fishponds is a vast area of mid-forest ponds, wetlands and wet meadows cut by many ditches and canals, draining excess water to the Dąbrówka River. The complex of fish ponds has become a protected area by the European Union. Particularly noteworthy is the relatively large number of species of breeding birds (139 species). Among the birds you can see in the area are Havørn, Fiskeørn, Rørhøg, Purpurhejre, Sort Stork, Hvidøjet And, Skægmejse, Fjordterne, Trane, Lille Præstekrave, Brushane, Enkeltbekkasin and Storspove.
