Description

Park Sośnina is a densely wooded park located in the city of Tarnów. The park stretches over 20 hectares and is dominated by beeches and oaks. Pines occur sporadically. The forest has also other habitats such as wet alder and some neighboring meadows. In the 70s of the twentieth century, alleys, benches, lighting and a playground were made, giving Soślina a park character. One of the special birds that breed in the forest is the Slagugle. Among the other birds you can encounter are Sortspætte, Spætmejse, Rødstjert, Natugle, Træløber and Musvåge.
