Oasi Alberone is a protected wetland, with a pier that crosses the reeds. Different species of birds nest here, for example Vandrikse. Information panels and an ornithological observatory make the area attractive for birdwatching. Among the birds you can encounter are Fiskehejre, Sølvhejre, Silkehejre, Dværghejre, Rørhøg, Lille Lappedykker, Vandrikse, Toppet Lappedykker, Taffeland, Troldand, Hvidøjet And, Krikand, Sort Glente, Stor Flagspætte, Sortspætte, Cettisanger, Rødtoppet Fuglekonge and Drosselrørsanger.
