Description

Police Park is one of the largest parks in eastern Tehran, split into two sections by a highway. Its northern section, with its extensive variety of trees, is a haven for species rarely found elsewhere in the city, such as the Vendehals and Radde's Accentor . Additionally, the park's dense shrubs provide an ideal habitat for uncommon warblers like the Sivsanger and Orient-gulbug.

Access

Located in the northeast of Tehran, the easiest way to reach Police Park is by private car, especially since it is so close to the highway. There is a patking lot at park's enterance which might get full in early mornings, but you still have a lot of aption around the park.

It is possible to get to Police Park nearby via public transport; you can take the metro to Shahid Bagheri Station, then catch a short cab ride to the park and walk just a few minutes to enter. Police Park covers a vast area. It takes at least one or two hours just to explore the northern section, which is the most significant part for birdwatching.
