Rhodes is a very dry island, smaller birds breed early before vegetation dies back. At Lindos you can find the usual mediterranean versions of swifts, swallows, warblers and Middelhavs-stenpikker. Other birds you can encounter are Tophejre, Triel, Rødhovedet Tornskade, Rødrygget Svale and Dværgryle.
Lindos is located on the south-east coast on Rhodes, 40 km south of Rhodes town. You can take a bus or coach from Rhodes town to Lindos.
