Description
At the south of the Mytilini peninsula is Charamida (or Haramida) Marsh. Easy to get to, lots of birds can be found there. In spring it is sometimes difficult to view the pools due to the tall reeds. In autumn the site is dry but still attracts many migrants and Sorthovedet Sanger occurs here year-round. Other birds you van observe in the area include Klippesvale, Grå Fluesnapper, Masketornskade, Husrødstjert, Vestlig Sortstrubet Bynkefugl, Vandrefalk, Sort Ibis, Stylteløber, Stenpikker, Hvidøjet And, Atlingand, Vendehals, Chukarhøne, Bleg Gulbug and Rustværling.
