Several kilometers southeast of Agiasos, the sanatorium is located. The surrounding pine forests are great for breeding Krüpers Spætmejse. Other species that can be found here are Balkan-løvsanger and Gulirisk, besides more common species like Mellemflagspætte and Korttået Træløber.
