Most of the birds in Stadtpark Leonberg are used to people, so you can usually get close enough for photos. In the park you can find, among others, Grågås, Nilgås, Gråand, Blishøne, Rørhøne, Grønspætte. You can also often see (mostly in the southern part of the park): Rød Glente, Sort Glente and Musvåge.
