Description

NSG Hainbuchenwald in der Wupperschleife is located in a bend of the river Wupper. A path runs along the river. Here you can observe Fiskehejre, Isfugl, Bjergvipstjert and the Vandstær. In the forest you can see species such as the Sumpmejse, Stor Flagspætte or Grønirisk.

Access

NSG Hainbuchenwald in der Wupperschleife is located on the northern outskirts of Leverkusen along the river Wupper. You have to park either in the residential area or at the pedestrian bridge a little further away. Click on the P in the map for directions. The path indicated on the map is 1,2 km one way.
