Description
The Kleine Lagune Dossenheim may not be very big, but it is all the more special for that. A beaver dam has dammed the stream that flows here, creating a body of water with mud flats. In addition to birds, many amphibians can also be observed here.
Of particular interest from an ornithological perspective are the waders that rest here during migration, such as the Hvidklire, Svaleklire and Tinksmed. However, the Lille Præstekrave, Rødben, Vibe and other waders are also regularly observed. Of course, the Sølvhejre and Fiskehejre can also be seen here. More rarely, a Purpurhejre also wanders here.
In the wet meadows, Bynkefugl or Vestlig Sortstrubet Bynkefugl can also be seen from time to time.
