Description
The Herrenteich attracts various waders (Lille Præstekrave, Hvidklire, Sortklire, Tinksmed, Svaleklire, Dobbeltbekkasin), especially during migration times. These birds are less common regionally. You can often see the Isfugl, Bjergvipstjert, Sort Glente, Rød Glente and various ducks and geese. From time to time Sort Stork, Spurvehøg, Duehøg are flying over. Now and then, Fiskeørn, Rørhøg, and Lærkefalk can also be seen.
The area can be seen from two sides and the footbridges can be walked on. One side of the lake is overgrown with trees. Another is covered with reeds.
