Hvid Stork started breeding in the Hagwinkel area some years ago. Many waterfowl are attracted by the pond and the nearby small river Niers. Besides Hvid Stork you can see Nilgås, Grågås, Skarv, Sølvhejre, Tårnfalk, Musvåge and Isfugl.
