Description

A short circular walk of 1 km will take you past a flood retention basin, a short section of the river Kinzig and the final stretch of the Erlenbach stream (where it flows into the river Kinzig). This mix of habitats is a great place to get good views of typical riverside birds of the region: With a bit of luck, you can see Isfugl, Vandstær, Stor Skallesluger and Bjergvipstjert.

In the town of Biberach, Hvid Stork nest on a platform in the centre, so you may well see them circling overhead here.
