Small reservoir lake in the Welzheimer forest. Good for a quick walk.
When visiting the Welzheimer forest or the general area, you can make a quick stop at lake Ebnisee to watch some of the typical forest and water birds. This includes several geese species such as Grågås, Nilgås and Rustand, but also Gråand, Blishøne and potentially even a Stor Skallesluger during winter.
The Ebnisee is located between the town of Kaisersbach and the village of Ebni. There are two parking lots in the area. Click on a P in the map for directions to a parking. But you can also get there by bus ("Kaiserbach Ebnisee") and of course by bike and foot. The circular walk around the lake is about 2 km.
This lake is especially family friendly as you can also go for a swim or take a small boat, and get some ice cream and other food.
