Description
The Bordelumer Heide with its many habitats ranging from spruce forests and little ponds to heathland, provides a home to different bird species. In the forest you can find birds such as Grå Fluesnapper, Topmejse and Træløber. The ponds and the surrounding reed are habitats for Rørsanger, Grågås and Isfugl. Where the area is more open you can hear Skovpiber sing in spring. Gøg, Gulspurv, Lille Gråsisken and Vestlig Sortstrubet Bynkefugl are also breeding in the heath areas. A Vandrefalk breeds near by in the radiotower. Sometimes Havørn are flying over the area to hunt at the coastline.
