Description
The Baddeckenstedt Teiche are ponds that are located in the nature reserve Mittleres Innerstetal, about 6 km east of the Derneburg ponds. Numerous waterfowl breed here, including around 15 pairs of Lille Lappedykker , 1-2 pairs of Sorthalset Lappedykker and, for the first time in 2010, a pair of Gråstrubet Lappedykker. Occasionally, Toppet Lappedykker also breed. In addition to Gråand and Knopsvane, Troldand, Taffeland and Knarand are at home here.
