The area is located on the port of Kourou, it allows the observation of migratory wading birds.
Pointe des Roches is interesting because it is one of the rare points in Guyana allowing the observation of birds (migratory or not) of mudflats and coasts. I advise you to look carefully at the tide times in order to be able to observe early in the morning because the shade is rare in the area. See a link to the tide table below.

La zone est intéréssante car c'est l'un des rare points en Guyane permettant l'oservation d'oiseaux (migrateurs ou non ) de vasières et cotiers. Je vous conseil de bien regarder les horaires de marées afin de pouvoir observer en début de matinée car l'ombre se fait rare sur place.
Pointe des Roches is located in the port of Kourou. To get to Pointe des Roches, simply park at the Dreyffus Tower car park and continue on foot towards the jetty. Press P on the map for directions to the parking.
