Säppi is an island in Bothnian bay near Pori. The organization "Säppi bird observatory" operates on this island.

Description

The island withhold one of the finest old-growth forests in southern Finland. The shores attract lots of migratory birds, like Tajga-piber. In spring you can witness great Fløjlsand migration and in autumn the island is known for it's rarities.

You can explore the island by foot, but you need a boat ride from local fisherman.
