Description
Tarup-Davinde is a large area of gravel excavation. As the ongoing mining is done, the lakes and the surrounding landscape are transformed into scenic natural areas. In addition to the many lakes, the area consists of grazed meadows, small forests, moist scrub and dry pastures. An extraordinary place with very varied terrain, and lots of exploring to do. And also plenty of birds. Among the birds you can encounter are Hvinand, Skeand, Krikand, Lille Skallesluger, Stor Skallesluger, Lille Lappedykker, Fiskeørn, Tinksmed, Brushane, Dobbeltbekkasin, Fjordterne, Rørhøg, Isfugl and Hvidklire.
