Access
The island is connected to the mainland on the north side by a bridge. You can reach the island by ferry from Rijeka, where there is an international airport. Please note the absence of parking or other facilities at the wetland sites. Also footpaths marked may be flooded or very muddy after rain. Thus a telescope will facilitate viewing from afar.
The walk routes on the map are all of 2 or 3 km in length.
