Description

Plateau du Gerny is an area of open fields surrounded by bushes. Rød Glente and Sort Glente are frequent. Annual observations of Pomeransfugl, Hedehøg, Markpiber and sometimes Trane on the ground. Rare visiors that have been observed in the area are Storpiber, Rødstrubet Piber, Hvidkindet Værling, Hortulan, Snespurv, Hærfugl, Fjeldvåge, Steppehøg, Dværgørn, Blå Glente and Aftenfalk.

Access

You can visit the main part of Plateau du Gerny by car but the eastern part is forbidden for cars. The circular route indicated on the map is about 8 km.
