The Kriephoek is an old Scheldt meander and a public angling water. Vandrikse, Gøg, Cettisanger, Rørsanger and Kærsanger feel at home here. Other birds you can see are Isfugl, Toppet Lappedykker, Vestlig Sortstrubet Bynkefugl, Hættemåge, Musvåge, Spurvehøg, Tårnfalk and Stor Flagspætte.
