Description
The Schlatzingeraue Natur Park is located in the center of the Maltatal and consists of a small resting area surrounded with wet grasslands and forests next to the river. A small track leads you around the grassland and next to the river, where species such as Bjergvipstjert and Vandstær can be seen. Small patches of bushes and scattered trees are great for songbirds, like Munk and Træløber and woodpeckers, like Stor Flagspætte.
The grassland has several patches with bushes in which species, such as Gærdesanger, can be found. With a bit of luck, a Rødrygget Tornskade might show up here too! The forests, mainly pine, are great for species such as Topmejse, Sortmejse and Rødtoppet Fuglekonge. Also, fairly large numbers of Nøddekrige can be found here too!
