Wacker Quay is an offshoot of the Lynher Estuary, situated on the main road between Torpoint and Liskeard, the parking area is situated on a sweeping bend.
The parking area is quite hidden on a sweeping bend (look for P sign), about a 1/4 mile west of the village of Anthony, there is a small free car park at the Quay that overlooks this small offshoot, it is possible to gain a wider view of the main estuary by walking North East along a beach or footpath that is often muddy and slippery, a telescope is advised but the good news is the sun is behind you.
The site can be reached from the City of Plymouth byway of a car/pedestrian ferry, has local bus stop in the nearby village of Anthony.
As always with estuaries, check tide times, the usual 3 hours either side of high tide is best, as well as the Quay/Estuary the surrounding area is heavily wooded, but in the main privately owned.
