Description
Birds that top the list in Thursden Valley are Bělokur rousný, krkavec velký and the laughing žluna zelená. One minute your on open barren moorland the next your in the woods. Among the other birds you can encounter are ústřičník velký, Sova pálená, poštolka obecná, skřivan polní, linduška luční, morčák velký, bramborníček černohlavý, pěnkava obecná, koliha velká, kalous pustovka and sýček obecný.

Access
Thursden Valley is located northeast of Burnley. You can park near the Coldwell reservoirs. Click on the P in the map for directions, Or you can make the journey big and come from either Widdop or Hurstwood. Best to explore the area by foot. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 1,8 mile (3 km).
