750 acres/300 hectare area of lakes and woodland near Wellingborough with cafe, shop, visitor centre, play area and 3 bird hides.
From the hides (one is two-storey) at Stanwick Lakes one can see rybák obecný, Sova pálená, volavka rusohlavá, volavka stříbřitá, winter wildfowl such as kopřivka obecná, lžičák pestrý, hvízdák eurasijský, čírka obecná, ostralka štíhlá and polák velký. Stanwick lakes is between Kettering and Bedford. It is 300 yards west of the A45 Stanwick roundabout. Click on the P in the map for directions. Parking charge is £3.80 for all day
As of 2022 the childrens play area is to be rebuilt after a fire.
