A beautiful, tranquil woodland walk along side the River Frome.
During the summer, Snuff Mills comes alive with the sound of bird song. The chorus includes pěnice černohlavá, červenka obecná, střízlík obecný, kavka obecná and holub hřivnáč. The close proximity to the river allows for wonderful species including konipas horský, skorec vodní and ledňáček říční to be watched as they fly up and down the water.
The proximity to Bristol City is ideal, making Snuff Mills easily accessible from many directions. There is a car park situated on site which is accessible via Broom Hill. Click on the P in the map for directions. Public transport is available from Bristol via the number 46 bus which stops outside the car park at River View Bus Stop. The circular walk indicated on the map is less than a mile.
