Description

Dinefwr Park is a historic Newton House surrounded by a National Nature Reserve and 18th century landscape Deer Park. Ecologically renowned park with rare insects, fungi and lichens plus several bat species and domesticated fallow deer. Birds include rehek zahradní, lejsek černohlavý, brhlík lesní, šoupálek dlouhoprstý, sokol stěhovavý, poštolka obecná, luňák červený and on the oxbow lakes volavka stříbřitá, čírka obecná, hvízdák eurasijský, polák chocholačka and ledňáček říční.

Access

1 mile west of Llandeilo from A40. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the car park. Access free to National Trust members otherwise £ 8 per adult and car park £ 5. Normally open 10am to 5pm. Boardwalk provides disabled access, there are longer trails also. The circular walk indicated on the map below is about 5 km long.
