Description

Marais Chamoson in the Rhone Valley is located between inhabited areas, agricultural area and a motorway. It is an island of nature in the middle of the Rhône plain with ponds, wetlands and meadows. The Chamoson and Ardon marshes have benefited from major revitalization work. Fauna and flora have reclaimed the place and now this low-marsh of national importance hosts a very high biological diversity. Explanatory panels present the fauna and flora that inhabit thw area. Among the birds you can see are vlha pestrá, krutihlav obecný, ťuhýk obecný, ledňáček říční, potápka malá, volavka popelavá, volavka bílá, rákosník obecný, břehule říční, bramborníček černohlavý and pěnice černohlavá.
