Description
The final part of Nyköpingsån river flows through the city of Nyköping. Along the river there is a very good walking path on both sides. Mostly functionally adapted. The best time to visit is during autumn, winter and spring. In the part from the harbor basin and upstream to Korsbron, there is no ice for the most part in winter and can morčák velký, polák chocholačka and hohol severní be observed. On the river's edge volavka popelavá are often standing. At the rapids you can find skorec vodní and ledňáček říční. On the stretch from Folkunga Bridge to Storhusfallet, there is also a point for skorec vodní, ledňáček říční and konipas horský. From Storhusfallet to Stadsbron are mostly kachna divoká, polák chocholačka and hohol severní. In the spring, the harbor basin is one of the places where the first racek chechtavý, rybák obecný and other gulls and terns appear.
