Description
The Lillfjärden lake is primarily known for its geese. berneška bělolící, husa velká, and berneška velká all breed. The lake also holds the entire swedish non-breeding population of husa malá. Other geese like husa běločelá, husa polní, husa krátkozobá can often be found. Some years husta tundrová and berneška tmavá are also found during migration periods.
The lakes rocky coast is also often home to waders like vodouš tmavý, vodouš rudonohý, kulík říční (breeds), ústřičník velký (breeds), and jespák bojovný. The lake holds large amounts of kachna divoká and smaller amounts of other dabbling ducks. Even species which are rare in northern areas like kopřivka obecná, lžičák pestrý and čírka modrá. Smaller amounts of diving ducks can often be found. Wintering brkoslav severní and hýl křivčí are often found. Although the numbers vary widely.

Access
The lake lies directly north to the center of Hudiksvall. There are many places to park the car. Click on the P in the map to get directions. You can make a circular walk around the lake (2,5 km).
