Description

Lausvik is an area where at low tide, large areas of sand and reefs are exposed, which attract large numbers of birds, especially waders and ducks. The coastal meadows are also interesting for both grazing geese and ducks, and they are usually patrolled by hunting birds of prey. In particular, the large flocks of migrating břehouš rudý tend to be particularly eye-catching. There are two bird towers that give a clear view and the area is best visited in the morning and afternoon when you have the light behind you. Lausviken is a designated Natura 2000 area.
