Description
The Långfjället Nature Reserve is one of Sweden’s largest. The highest peak is Storvätteshogna, at 1204 m. It has areas of pure primeval forest without traces of forestry. On the moutain plateau it is lovely walking with plenty of birds on top and in dales. Lots of bělokur horský, linduška luční, kulík zlatý and bělořit šedý. You also find sojka zlověstná (in the coniferous forest) and vodouš šedý (around small bog areas in the forest). And along the streams and rivers the skorec vodní is a common sight. In the lakes and streams you can find ducks like čírka obecná, hohol severní and potáplice severní.You can also encounter moose, foxes, martens and brown bears.
