The bay near the village Hedesunda is called Hedesunda Fjärderna, a unique landscape, with hundreds of small islands, marshes and ancient woods. The birdlife is very extensive; you’ll find a large variety of Woodpeckers, Owls and you can see orlovec říční. Among the other birds you can see are racek bouřní, morčák velký, orel mořský, hohol severní, potáplice malá, jeřáb popelavý and labuť zpěvná. The are is also the habitat for wildlife such as, moose, deer, beaver, lynx and bear.
