Laguna de Covadonga is a quiet place where there is a great diversity of bird species throughout the year. You can leave the car along the road because there is little traffic. Waders, passerines, ducks and even steppe birds can be observed. Among the birds you can encounter are pisila čáponohá, kulík písečný, čejka chocholatá, jespák bojovný, pisík obecný, vodouš kropenatý, kolpík bílý, rybák velkozobý and drop velký.

Laguna de Covadonga is located between San Silvestre de Guzmán and Villablanca and accessed by the road Camino de Cartaya a Lepe. You can leave the vehicle along the road as it is not very busy. Click on the P in the map for directions.
